‘Our heritage of displacement’

“A very fine river: Convict stories from the Hunter”, was an exhibition held at the Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery July-Oct 2014 featuring a select group of local artists – Sophia Emmett, Ruth Feeney, Carolyn McKay, Tara Standing and Ryan Williams – and was curated by Rob Cleworth and Nicole Chaffey. The artwork below entitled “Our Heritage of Displacement” is by glass artist/ object designer Sophia Emmett and was featured in the exhibition catalogue.
